About Bella Vista Landscapes

Raul Ortiz (Owner-Operator)- I was born and raised in Santa Barbara. I'm a second generation landscaper. I literally grew up landscaping and taking care of gardens since I was 12 years old with my Grandfather and Uncles as a summer job. I attended Santa Barbara City College and graduated form there two year Horticulture program in December of 1999. I received my Landscape Contractors Lic. in November of 2001 and that's when Bella Vista Landscapes was born. We are a local home grown business for 15 years. I personally handle all the day to day operations and my wife Nora of sixteen years handles all the bookkeeping and office work. I am very passionate about landscaping and gardening. My family taught me " that plants are like people. What you sow, cultivate and put into them is what your fruit and return will be"
